I knew Tatya as we called him from 1947 when I entered G.S. Medical collage Mumbai. he wa 2 years sr to me.A genious . brilliant man. above average versatile. No wonder he took to Plastic and reconstructive surgery.He staye in my room as a(parasite) KEM terminolgy for few months. I could see how voracious reader he was. learnt Chess, Origomy and was also proponenet of Bannana diet( he HAD A Ponch)as dieting fad. I saw him experimenting with a new camera which his brother in law gave him as gift. He would practise in dark all its functions Later he guided me for my patients needing plastic surgery. Even came down to Akola to my hospital. We both had a lunch session with him at his apt at Dadar.He even addessed our IMA branch. Was greatly disturbed to know of his passing away. Lost track of his UK address but last Sept remembered him as I ewas there on a lecture tour. May God Grant his soul eternal peace. Pl let me knw about his children in detal. DR.
